Services

Although we provide all our training courses to clients on a bespoke basis, we do also offer some as a 1 or 2 day Public Training course at certain times of the year. These will give you an overall understanding of the subject.

We are able to provide all our bespoke training at our offices in Battersea, Chertsey and Aldershot or if you would prefer at your premises.

Cultural awareness training

PPS team is expertly skilled at providing Language and Cultural awareness training to the private sector including relocation firms and the MoD–we are now expanding this service to International Security firms, Police forces and the Public sector whose staff travel, relocate or manage International teams.

Relocation

Cover all aspects of living and working in a foreign country – from background information on the history, politics and geography of the country to in-depth discussions on how to do business, manage and build successful relations with your new international counterparts.

Business abroad

Business abroad is for professionals who need to establish good business relationships with colleagues, suppliers and clients. The course will provide you with information on how to understand cultural differences, to build trust with colleagues abroad and Business etiquette in country.

Military Language and Cultural Awareness Training

Popular languages are Pashto, Dari and Arabic.
Military language courses are tailored to the specific needs of the unit, or Defence Attaché be it foreign language tuition for deploying troops or English language learning for Allied troops. We understand and can comfortably cater for the military’s language needs; providing them with Military terminology and cultural briefing.
PPS courses are designed around what is best suited to the role of the students. We work with the Army, Navy and Airforce. The courses encompass General Military vocabulary as well as specific job related activities. Classes can be on a group basis or for specific Defence Attache’s roles on a one to one basis. Hours can be from 60-hours to over 800 hours tuition time. Our tutors often have to join students on their role play and practical exercises.
Language instruction away from the classroom is an important confidence builder in preparation for real scenarios. Being able to give instructions, explain a situation or provide support in another language can not only prevent misunderstanding and lost time, but in some cases even save lives.
As part of but also as a stand alone service, we can also provide Afghan and Somali role players in support of mission specific training.

World Language Training

Pashto, Dari, Somalian and Arabic have become some of the most demanded languages in recent years – PPS has helped Embassy Personnel, the Police, Government agencies from here and abroad to learn their chosen language. We can offer all world languages from a minimum of 60 hours tuition – Please contact us for more details.

English

Our English tuition can be tailored to match a clients specific needs for example pre-military English has been extremely beneficial for Army officers from abroad who wish to learn Military tactical training but do not have the English language requirement. This type of English language Training can also be transferred for Foreign Police and Security Training forces. Please contact us for more details

Interpreting

Our Interpreters are Native speakers with working English. They possess a wealth of experience often having worked with high profile clients from Government agencies, High Courts and the Ministry of Defence – Many have security clearance. There are two modes of interpreting: simultaneous, and consecutive. Please contact us to find out which one is most suited to your requirements. In demand languages include the languages of Afghanistan Dari and Pashto, Somalian, Arabic, Nepalese, Tamil.

Is for All newly appointed trainers, Trainers with some experience who want to refresh their practical skills or anyone whose role has expanded to include leading in-house or external training sessions – An understanding of the different learning styles, and the role they play .The tools to adapt your training methods to different learning styles and delegates.
